Drydenth was very, very happy. Kobaleth had arrived earlier with his rider, who Drydenth liked, and with H'lak's daughter, the six-turn-old Haina. The little girl had met Iskerath and the gold had liked her, which made the brown simply burst with pride, since golds were always right and if Iskerath said that Haina was sweet, then his whole life had just been validated. Kobaleth was going to stay the night as well, which was fun because that meant that his rider and Haina were staying too and that meat that not only would he get to trade news and stories with the tranquil blue, but he would get to look after his rider's hatchling all day!
H'lak was walking quietly back to his weyr, his sister in tow. He kept an eye on Drydenth, who was carrying Haina on his back. The dragon moved more slowly than usual, trying not to bounce too much. It was hard. He was happy and he got bouncy when he was happy. Lavina balanced on his head, though, and started screeching if the ride got too bumpy. He wanted to show his rider's hatchling off to as many people as possible, but he didn't know how many other dragons actually liked hatchlings. That thought made him pause. Trusith! His friend Trusith liked little ones. He trumpeted happily, which made Haina laugh happily and made H'lak turn to glare at him. Trusith! Trusith! My H'lak's little one is visiting! Come and meet her![/color]
