((WARNING: This thread involves people trying to kill people to feed to dragons. If this freaks you out, please feel free not join! I will be more than happy to play with you in a less dragon-eat-human thread. <3))
Despite his misgivings with Jiruyno and his yellow dragon, Machi listened to them. He'd blooded Rhinth, hunted down as many hot-blooded creatures as he could to try and get her stronger, but he'd had little luck recently. And while some could debate the young murderers capability to love, Machi had everything in him screaming to make his purple dragon healthy again. It was important to do so, as Rhinth's life meant his own life as well. She needed food, and oil, because even at the young age, she'd begun to grow faster than anything he'd expected.
That morning, he packed up Rhinth in a small sling onto his back, just so she could just fit, and tucked Warden's knife away. He had a criminal in mind, an arsonist who was nothing more then a drain on the camp's resources at the best of times. The man went in and out of the jungle often, and Machi used that to his advantage.
He stalked, slipping through the shadows, following the paths. While the arsonist was not in the jungle - yet - Machi had no reason to not at least try to find something else to eat. Rhinth ate the meat, Machi the vegetables and fruits and bugs fathered along the way in their short time together.
Jessan wanted to come. Machi said no.
Rhinth crooned, rubbed her cheek against his shoulder from over the cloth sack. Machi-precious, it will be well. Don't fret. You're a much better hunter then anyone else here. Another chirp, the dampness of the jungle good on her hide. Then, to others of like mind? I know you're all terribly busy, brothers and sisters, but Mine is hunting. If you would like to be useful so we don't all die, you may, of course, join.
Machi peered up a tree. "Rhinth, what are you doing?" He started to climb, awkward and slow with Rhinth, but climb never the less.
They are not as clever or strong as you, Darling, but there is safety in numbers. Attack with others at your front, wouldn't want something happening to the important one of us all.
