Appearance: Nayzza has long black hair with dark brown eyes. She stands at 5'4 and weighs 132 lbs. Her legs are long which help her for making quick getaways. She is slightly willowy and pretty skinny. Nayzza needs to be skinny and long legged for the thieving that she does. Her skin is a golden honey color with a splash of freckles across her cheeks and nose.

Personality: Nayzza is a kind person, but because she never really had anyone to raise her the girl was never taught the difference between the good things in life and the bad things in life. She always thought that to survive one needed to steal. The girl never knew what she was doing was wrong and she was only trying to survive. Nayzza is smart and often outruns her pursuers. The girl never really knew why she was being chased and she never wanted to find out. She did not enjoy stealing, but she did not know how to go up to someone and explain her situation to someone.
Nayzza is willing to find whatever will help her become a new person than the thief that she grew up to be. This girl is not an easy person to trust or to trust others. With how she was often chased the girl finds it hard to allow people to get anywhere near her. One of the things she hates is crackdust. She tried it once and sure it was addictive, but the girl didn't like what it did to her so she stopped. She felt the side effects of the stuff, but she had found herself quickly over the stuff. Nayzza is willing to change herself around and become a better person and if that means getting caught then she is willing to get caught.
History: Nayzza has been alone for as long as she can remember so she does not remember or know who her parents are. The girl only knows names and nothing else. Her father was Teyzza and her mother was Nelsa. Other than that she knows nothing of her parents. The girl scrounged for food and clothing to keep herself alive. She knew that things would get rough come winter, but Nayzza felt that she could make it. The first winter she was utterly wrong. The girl got really sick and couldn't move for two sevendays.
Other holdless people took pity on her and took her in until she was better. The girl was only surrounded by other children, but there was on old couple that had a few children of their own. Unfortunately the couple died that winter before Nayzza could really learn anything about right and wrong. Once Nayzza was better she left the people who had taken her in because they were getting more violent by the end of winter. The girl continued her journey over Pern and to make sure she survived.
Some of the things that Nayzza would steal were clothing and food, but as she grew older she began stealing things to sell for Marks. It seems that Nayzza stole one too many pieces of jewelry. A Lord Holder turned her in because Nayzza had not been careful when stealing from him and his Lady Holder. She had allowed herself to be seen and in the process have a good description of herself being turned over to the Dragon Watch.
At the age of eight Turns the girl began running from those who may recognize her from the description that was given to the Dragon Watch. The girl did not know who they were or what they wanted, but Nayzza would not get caught. For seven Turns the girl managed to escape capture. In the early times of her fifteenth Turn the girl heard about a Weyr that took prisoners that were running amok of Pern. The girl vowed never to be taken in. One day, however, she slipped up and got caught. She was taken to Warden Weyr where she vowed never to go.
The girl was thrust into work that was suitable for her age and her skills, but the girl did not like it. Another prisoner who seemed to be getting better food than she was explained that if she did her work well then she too would would be treated better than the more violent prisoners. Nayzza liked that idea and began to slowly change. She did her work without complaint and she never got into a fight with another prisoner. One day the girl heard about the Golden Queen, Semith finally having a Mating Flight, though an awkward one. She heard that a Bluerider rose to the rank of Weyrleader because of it.
Now Nayzza has something to look forward to. Nayzza hopes that she can behave enough to be able to Stand for the Clutch and maybe leave her life as prisoner.
