(I'm not expecting anyone to want to join her, but if you're character is really that mad then feel free to interrupt her ;) )
Bella wrinkled her nose with distaste as the sulfurous smell of the hot springs assaulted her nose. Ugh. Why did they have to smell so bad? The wash rooms at Warden's didn't smell like this. Privately she wished that she could sneak back inside the forsaken place just for a good clean nice smelling bath. Yes, that'd be good. Maybe she could stab Z in the back while she was there...
But anyway, bath time was needed and bath time it was, and Bella pushed ahead into the springs, breathing the stifling air until her senses had gained some small immunity to it. Bellatrisk behind her huffed, equally displeased with the smell, perhaps more so with her more sensitive nose. Bellask, ahead, snarled her own displeasure, but flopped into the hot water with no further complaint. Bella, stripping off, soon followed her. Ah but the hot water was still a godsend!
Bellatrisk didn't join her handler and sister in the water, instead heading around the edge of the pool to the earthy ledge where the dragon eggs sat. Bella paid her little mind, content to focus on ridding herself of the much and grime that seemed to accumulate extraordinarily fast out here in the jungle. That's what you got for sleeping rough on the floor at night and spending most of your days out in the humid forest. But she did keep an eye on the wher, in particular which eggs the gold was tending to. It'd been enough of a struggle to convince Bellatrisk to pay them any mind at all, dragon eggs and not wher as they were, and certainly not her own. Then there'd been the job of convincing her not to kill any she thought to be female, explaining to her that there were no gold eggs there and that green dragons could not clutch, and then that there were so many small golden eggs that it would be impossible to tell if any of them were opals. Needless to say it wasn't easy.
And still Bella was having to watch her to see that she wasn't neglecting any of them. Scrubbed as clean as she was ever going to get in these icky waters, Bella swum over to the ledge, peering over the top as she held herself underneath it. "Don't forget that little dark golden one," she told the gold, knowing Bellatrisk to be notorious or neglecting the little Widow's Veil.
Won't hatch anyway. Weak. Not worth effort.
It was the same answer that she got every time she prompted the wher to care for it. And she gave the same response. "We need all the hatchlings we can get. If this one isn't to hatch then so be it, but we should at least give it the chance." She knew what the gold was getting at though. She'd touched that one before, concerned as to why the gold was leaving it be. Scared. Terrified. Even if it did hatch it was unlikely to survive for long, what with conditions such as they had. It'd have to pick some rider to live for long.
Eyeing Bellatrisk until the gold did give the dark little egg the once over, the woman then turned her attention to the other eggs. Hmm, strange. Someone must have brought some more dirt in since last time she'd looked at them. They were definitely more padded. Curious, she reached her hand out to the nearest egg to the ledge, Watch Your Back, one she hadn't touched before, having to pull herself a little out of the water to do so.

For Bella:
First thing first - the Watch Your Back Egg makes it perfectly bloody clear it is not weak. It shoves the entirety of it's mental weight at Bella, striking at her with as much ferocity and vitality that an egg possibly could. Did the egg shiver under her fingers? Maybe. Maybe not. But the egg is quite adament. No. It is not dead. Go fly yourself.

Bella traced her finger's lightly over the designs of the egg. Well, this one was most definitely alive, as it seemed so desperate to prove to her. She giggled at its indignant reaction to her thoughts. "Now I never said YOU were weak egg, as you have proved you're not. Now that we have that out of the way, are you going to be a little nicer to me?" she asked, fingers not ceasing in their idle tracing, completely unbothered by the egg's antics. If anything it reminded her of touching Bellask's egg, a little, or maybe Bellatrisk's. They too had been most definitely alive and kicking figuratively inside their shells. Bellatrisk, on cue, came over and nudged the egg which Bella was touching, checking its temperature and whatever else mama whers checked for in their eggs. Except these were dragon eggs, and Bellatrisk hadn't even RUN yet, let alone clutched. It was all down to instinct, she supposed. (She's stayed with WYB )

For Bella and Bellatrisk:
Hsssssssssss. The egg is still unimpressed and no, it won't be nicer! The animosity is still there, the still-shoving of it's mind against hers - and the wher! Guh! At the touch of Bellatrisk, the egg goes deathly still, and quiet.

Bella snorted derisively when the egg refused to be nicer to her. "That's it you just keep on hatin' then, egg," she said, somewhat sarcastically. When the egg continued its pushing she pushed right back, and then the presence drew back into itself as Bellatrisk nudged it. Bella laughed. "Scardie cat under all that brovado, aren't you?" Then when the egg didn't reply, "You're boring." She withdrew her hand, looking for another egg that was nearby.
None were within her immediate reach, so she pulled herself up and out of the water onto the ledge, shimmying along along a little further util she was within reach of the Golden Starburst egg, firmly placing her palm on the shell.

For Bella:
The Golden Starburst Egg is a lot of things, but it's not stupid. At the touch of Bella's mind, and the attached whers' it radiates a sort of chill gratitude. Yes, yes, wher mama and wher mama's keeper, keep the attention coming and the egg promises not to mock you. Well, at least not to your face.

OOC;;Just because I like torturing Caroline and piting her against harsh, and cruel women, I will join you. <3
She had a horrible sinking feeling in her gut the moment she started down the tunnel for the hot springs. Certainly she wanted to check on the eggs, make sure they were okay and some outlaw maniac hadn't destroyed them yet, perhaps even take a bath, but that didn't stop the sinking feeling she suddenly found herself having. A feeling she knew all too well, a feeling that screams at her to turn the other way even if her feet refused to listen. The voice echoing off the stone walls, brought her heart straight down to the pit of her stomach.
Go the other way, go the other way! she hissed at herself, urging her feet to turn around, but of course they never listened so why now? Perhaps it was because of an insistent little voice urgning her foward, urgning her to face those she fears most, a little voice that had grown louder and louder with every month she spent at Warden's, something she had kept from most even when the little voice had its little... outbursts.
Soon enough, with the horrid smell of the springs filling her nose and earning a small sneeze from her, the teen entered the hotsprings, hunched down and cowering in the presence of the woman she knew would be there. Bellatrix. What she hadn't really thought of were her wehrs, of course they'd be with her but...eh. The golden wher was nosing the eggs, having been put in charge as 'mama' but the green wher was swimming taking a bath. Oh dear, she'd just interupted bath time, never mind she wanted one herself. All she could think of that very moment was how nasty both whers were.
"G-good e-e-evening B-Bellatrix." she stuttered, shifting toward the eggs as if being near the offspring would shield her from the wrath of the trio. Fat chance.

(Pfft, she's brave ) Well, at least this egg was a good deal less hostile than its sibling. In fact she got the distinct feeling that it was grateful - ah yes, it must have sensed her connection to Bellatrisk, who'd been giving its due attention not a few minutes ago. Smart egg. Knew who to butter up to. Bellatrisk rumbled in amusement as she felt the faint contact of the egg on her handler's mind, but continued her attentions on the Holland's Pride egg. Bellask was a great deal more surprised when she felt it, not having been paying attention to her handler, rather enjoying splashing about playfully in the shallows. Looking up at the mental touch she propelled her way through the water to the ledge wher her handler had pulled herself up and peered her head up over the edge. She had to grip the ledge with one forepaw though, to complete the maneuver, as her neck wasn't quite that long and she had yet to perfect treading water. Just as she was giving the golden egg a curious sniff, being too far away to touch it for herself, a voice wavered into the mists, distorted by the damp air, but not quite like most others' were. Bella listened in, hearing her own name spoken, picking up on the stutter. She blinked into the fog in the direction of the entrance, trying to see who it was. Female, she knew, not robotic enough to be Ribbon and too stuttery to be Jadore or Jessan or most of the other women. Kailin knew her better than to stutter so. Who then? Bellask somehow managed to haul herself up onto the ledge from the water, wobbling her way along the edge to wrap herself protectively around her handlers naked form, wing stretched out to obscure Bellatrisk from Caro's view. "Tsk, Bellask," she fussed, pulling the green's wing down a little and peering over it at the figure who was now a good deal closer, close enough to finally recognise. "Ahh, Caroline!" she exclaimed, being thankfully in good humour just then. Caro wouldn't get her head bitten off today, at least not if she behaved herself. She lay a calming hand on Bellask's muzzle as the wher hissed at the newcomer. The gold wher was pointedly ignoring Caro until she approached the eggs, at which point she too gave Caro a cautionary hiss. She was well aware that the candidates touched the eggs, and even if they weren't hers a little bit of a gold's instinctive protective nature pushed her to warning Caro off them. "Don't be such a wherry, Princess. If Caroline here wishes to touch the eggs then she may, right?" Bella said rhetorically to her gold. She raised an eyebrow at the gold, who hissed once then went quiet. Touch, but no mess up eggs, the wher said to Caro, finishing with the Holland's Pride egg and moving over to tend the Whirlwind Romance Egg at the far side of the clutch. At least now Caro could get to most of the eggs without coming into the immediate vicinity of the two whers. "Go on dear, she won't hurt you," Bella said, he assurance quite transparent, as anyone who knew the Bellas even vaguely knew this was likely as not untrue. Bella folded her arms on the outer spar of Bellask's wing, resting her chin on her arms as she watched Caro. "So, you want a dragon, then?" she asked the girl, regardless of whether Caro wanted to talk to her or now.

OOC;;Pfft. No she isn't. I'm just cruel.
Really, being hissed at by two whers in succesion was not her idea of fun. Cringing in on herself, Caroline shuffled back against the wall, watchful gaze on the golden wher, the larger and obviously more dangerous of the two whers. Even when Bellatrix spoke to the wher, it barely reassured the teen. Bellatrix's moods can shift so quickly that the gold could be on h- Wait wha? Touching?
Looking up vaguely confused she met the gaze of the gold even as the voice filtered throug her mind, causing her to cringe even more. Apparently she was touching the eggs. Shaking herself from her small stupor, Bella's voice helping with that Caroline stood for a moment wondering what the heck to do. Of course she was considered a candidate wasn't she? All outlaws were. But she'd never really thought about it... Then which should she touch first?
Keeping the thought in mind that Bellatrix was almost certainly lying about her wher not harming her, she stepped toward the eggs hestitantly before jumping at Bella's next question. She wanted a...dragon?
"...I-I suppose.." Caroline mutttered after a moment, after all she did but then she cringed again and hurriedly went on hoping her answer wasn't too short, "i-I m-m-mean, y-yes I d-do, b-but the e-eggs..." Caroline trailed off, hurriedly crouching by one of the eggs hardly realizing which one it was. Bellatrix would know what she meant. The eggs were stolen, and Caroline's guilt was eating at her, after all the teen had refused to participate in no uncertain terms. Quite adament about it, even snarling in a few faces who suggested she'd help for their 'cause', saying she owed it to them keeping her sorry butt alive, which led to her saying back she could survive on her own, proven by the fact she actually did most of that particular outlaw's chores. One of the more... explosive outbursts from her other side, a other side that was currently bubbling tot he surface in response to her fear. She was pretty sure Bellatrix was there at that arguement though... or heard about it.
Shoving the annoyed feelings back down, she brushed Sand away slightly from the shell and saw she had come to the Widow's Veil Egg, the one described as being terrified.
Well perhaps it wouldn't be so terrified if it was still with its mother... she thought to herself, feeling the pulsing shell underneath. Just as quickly as the thought had bubbled to the surface she shoved it back down, ignoring the anger at her own shove even as she pursed her lips.

Pfft, if Caroline thought that Bellatrisk was the most dangerous of the pair, she should really have put more effort into getting to know them. Although each were as likely to take your head off as not, Bellatrisk was the more naturally restrained, which dear little Bellask had had to learn. Ad things learned were easy enough to forget.
But the whers were quiescent for now, at least until she did something stupid. Or until they got bored.
Bella watched the girl intently as she stepped up to the eggs, almost visibly trembling. She shuffled forward, then dropped down by Widow's Veil. Oh how boring. She could have chosen a more exciting egg. Maybe Bella would have to direct her to one.
Her question seemed to surprise the girl. No wonder really, seeing as she looked about ready to disappear into the dirt if such a thing were possible. She stuttered an answer. Oh dear, it seems little Caro is afraid of us. How about that, my Darlings? she said, a slight sneer appearing on her features as the whers sorted in response, Bellask continuing onto a slight wheezing sort of noise that passed for wher-giggles.
"What was that?" she asked Caro, putting a hand up to her ear, "I didn't quite catch that? What did you say the eggs were? Beautiful? Big? Small? Scary, maybe? Or... ooh! Stolen?" she added, gazing at Caro with steel in her eyes, just daring the girl to challenge her. Yes, she remembered now, Caro's adamant refusal to take part in the egg 'gathering' expedition in the rather explosive argument she'd been witness to not the last week gone. Funny, really. You'd never think her capable of it looking at her now. Maybe she could have some fun with this...
"That's my egg over there, what Bellatrisk is looking after," she said, indicating the Whirlwind Romance egg, which the gold was now packing more dirt up the side of.
She looked back to Caro, who was touching the terrified little egg with a strange expression on her face.
"You like that one? Maybe you should try that one next, that big colourful one, she's nice" she said, indicating Hero's Call with a pointed finger. Yes, she'd said she. Let Caro think Bella knew something that others didn't about the big egg.
