NOZ I DON'T EVEN FUCKING KNOW WHAT TO SAY
LOL WHAT.
I LOVE YOU.
Name: Zenoth Color: Bronze
Appearance: Zenoth is a pit bull of a dragon. He may not be on the same scale as, say, Yusuth or Merceth, but he is definately one of the larger of his color. He has longer legs than what could be considered normal, and exceedingly shiny claws. His head is large, and his jaw thick and square with a powerfully corded neck. He cuts of a thick figure, all hard and fierce muscles. Even his wings are large and in charge, made of nearly pure power.
His base color is that of an old penny, still with that tell-tale sheen of being all male and Bronze-like. His markings are lighter, the shine of the metal all Bronzes are named for. Zebra-esque stripes cover the entirety of his wings and up his spine. His tail of covered with the same decoration. Zenoth likes to think of the rather scattered markings as a 'mark os distinction'.
Whatever makes him happy, right?
Personality: Quite simply, Zenoth is a force of nature. This isn't a comparison of dragon with tornado, but rather a very invasice and insistant breeze. Zenoth is not the sort of dragon that understands that personal boundaries are a thing that people actually believe exist, and sees it as his right as not just a bondmate, but Sa'nil's bondmate, to pry into what busines he needs to. What if his Sa'nil needs something and he doesn't know the answer?
He prefers to translate straight to humans directly for his Rider, finding other dragons unreliable to get through Sa'nil's true meaning. This of course means that whole 'you're a rude dragon if you talk to other riders' rule is just totally out the window, and Zenoth couldn't care less.
Maybe His is a puppy, and a hyper creature, but Zenoth is a witty creature full of horribly bad jokes. 'Knock knocks' are probably not unheard of in his career with Sa'nil. Zenoth is a bronze full of laughter and he'd like to share that laughter, thank you. He's that dragon to crack some random joke in the middle of a discussion, and end up confusing absolutely everyone. At least he's calm about it? Zenoth is completely aware that not everyone understands what's chuckle-worthy, and is chill with that fact.
He's a cuddly dragon, that much can be said. With his girth, one needs to be, and with a bondmate like Sa'nil, it's a sharding requirement. Zenoth sees nothing wrong with doting on and coddling his rider, and snuggles right up to him whenever either one of the pair wants it, or needs to. When it comes to others, Zenoth is more prone to keep a polite distance, but if the individual requires physical contact, he will snuffle a nose up against them. Sa'nil is more than welcome to curl up in front of a warm fire with whatever company he chooses - Zenoth shall stand powerful guard!
Zenoth talks, and he talks a lot, but he knows when to shut up. When Sa'nil cries, he has the entire shiny bulk of Zenoth to clutch onto and hide behind. In that time, Zenoth will defend him as a Gold with her first clutch. He is protective of his Rider, and while that just usually means translating for Sa'nil and sticking as close to him as he can, during the times of intense hardship for Sa'nil, 'protective' means 'be glad he isn't an atyp'. When it comes to Flights, Zenoth will chase Golds, maybe an occasional green. His main loyalty is to Sa'nil, after all, but sometimes there is a lady that laughs at his jokes. He has to follow!
Why me? Sa'nil is a lovely man, and he has every right to be heard. In the traditional roles of the Watch and some Weyrs in general, the smaller colors don't get much say so. With the shine to his hide and the pure size of him, Zenoth automatically garners the ear of the old-timers, and anyone who tries to ignore him or His get a mind-full of bad jokes and dragon issues.
Even before the incident, Zenoth knew his cheerful rider would need an advocate, a protector outside of his own good will. He is outgoing and plays nice with strangers, as far as reclusive as one could get, and he has absolutely no problem making sure that others know just how awesome he and His are.
Zenoth makes sure Sa'nil isn't run over in the game of life and provides him with the emotional stability he needs on those rare crying days. Sa'nil, in return, gives Zenoth a purpose, and an eternal smile. Without the cheer and love of Sa'nil in his life, it'd be easy for Zenoth to feel useless to have no one to take care of. Sa'nil's cheer? It makes the dragon feel hope. Sure, G'rus is a good guy, but he can't compare to a huge shiny brute!

AAAAAA OMG AAAAA I CAN'T STOP MAKING STUPID FACES Image URL: img.photobucket.com/albums/v625/Twists/brownleopard2.gifName:Rheth Inspired by:Rhett Butler Color:Brown Appearance: Rheth is long and whippy for a brown, he is speed and stamina combined, though he lacks the raw strength of some of his color. He has the body of a distance runner, lean muscles are etched into the cool brown of his hide. While he doesn't have the quick bursts of speed seen in the blues and greens he will catch up eventually. This boy doesn't have an ounce of fat, and he can fly all day without tiring. His hide is a delicious ruddy brown, it would be described as the color of a rich cinnamon, if Pern had cinnamon. Thick clouds of chocolate swirl and dance across his hide like a jungle cat's pelt. Bands of light and dark run the length of his neck, making it seem longer and more elegant than it really is. From the tip of his nose to the tip of his tail a pale swath of klah with cream runs the length of his underside. The delicate expanse of his wingsails and the tips of his headknobs are the same yummy cream color. Personality: Rheth is a cynic. He calls things like he sees them, and his vision is excellent. Rheth considers the niceties of society to be ridiculous, and tosses them to the four winds. Squadleader, Wingleader, Weyrleader, makes no difference to Rheth, if you're idea is foolish he'll make sure you know. Rheth is not cruel in his honesty, and he takes no pleasure in his words, but if they need saying, he's gonna be the one to say them. His mouth has earned G'rus extra duty on more than one occasion. This honesty extends to his rider, as he attempts to act as a counter balance to his rider's selflessness and unwavering trust. He always goes for the counterpoint, playing devil's advocate in an attempt to get G'rus to see both sides of the coin. Rheth tries to keep G'rus's heroic tendencies from getting out of hand, lest they both end up heading between in a handbasket. For all his cynicism and snarkiness Rheth would go to the moons and back for his rider, all the while telling him how crazy the whole situation was. Rheth is no gentleman, but he does have an honorable streak. Rheth is a hit with the ladies, even without trying he's just smooth. Human or dragon he has a sweet, and sincere, line for all of them. He can charm with a glance, and make a girl go weak with a lazy flick of his tail. When not quipping about the foolishness of the establishment he can be found in the company of some pretty little thing. It's the bad boy aura. Why me? G'rus needs an ally who can see the shades of grey. The cowboy rider needs someone to tell him he's still mortal. Rheth is that someone. He is the balance that brings his rider back to center. He is the voice that chuckles at those ill-timed jokes, knowing they are the tool that keeps his so calm and focused. Rheth knows when to prod, and when to leave well enough alone. When to remind his rider he cannot save everyone, and when to follow him into the thick of things. Now, if only he can keep his mouth shut during inspections.

To Zen:
Name: Cazveth Age: 12 (I believe?) Color: Green
Appearance: Cazveth is somber, almost drab, in appearance. Her hide is pale, greyish green, punctuated with darker “shadows” at her joints and the places where her limbs attach to her body, as well as near her eyes and on her throat. Her wings are enormous for her size; long and broad, like a heron’s, she’s not built for maneuverability and tends to look rather like a very large, green umbrella when she’s on the ground. Gawky and long-legged, she’s a bit large for her size but has a crazy fast metabolism that keeps her looking strangely frail—with very little padding on her joints, she’ll be prone to arthritis at an early age. She is surprisingly fast in the sky: well-suited to bursts of energy and almost frenetic maneuvers, she tires quickly.
Personality: Cazveth is a difficult dragon—precisely the kind one might expect to be bonded to a man like E’mor. To those who aren’t her rider, she comes off as airheaded, confusedly absentminded and slightly cryptic. More than once, others have made the mistake of assuming that Cazveth is stupid. They are wrong—this green is plenty smart. She’s not a genius, but she’s perfectly capable of understanding things. The problem comes with the way Cazveth perceives the world. She thinks nonlinearly, often taking very peculiar and roundabout ways to come to a solution. Directness is lost on Cazveth; she thinks mostly in figurative language and metaphor.
This can make her somewhat difficult to understand; in fact, it’s likely that only E’mor will ever be able to entirely “get” this peculiar green. To boot, she has a terrible memory, often forgetting even the names of her draconic squadmates; she probably never even bothered to learn their riders. She’s much more likely to just call them by some distinguishing feature and have done with it. People aren’t important to Cazveth at all—except, of course, for E’mor. She is a one-person dragon, fiercely bonded to her rider and devoted to the point of ignoring Flights and Rising only once or twice a turn rather than a green’s usual four or five. E’mor is more important to her than any male dragon could be.
Unfortunately, Cazveth’s love for her rider borders on obsessive—and this is something that’s rather typical of Cazveth. When she decides she likes something, she loves it unconditionally. There is no middle ground. If she decides she likes wherry, she is insatiable when it comes to chasing down the fowl. If she decides she likes a certain male, she will pursue him fiercely (she doesn’t flirt; she’s just as socially awkward as her rider, but she will make a point to always be where he is. Always). These obsessions usually don’t last very long, but they’re difficult to break. It is up to Cazveth to decide when she doesn’t like something anymore.
There is one thing, however, that Cazveth never likes, and that is women. She is a jealous mistress, guarding E’mor close and occasionally fostering those obnoxious personal habits that make him difficult to interact with. She’s very possessive and rather paranoid that eventually E’mor’s going to “take up with one of those soft things and run off forever.” If E’mor ever does decide to take a weyrmate, he’ll need to do a lot of convincing to get Cazveth to even let the woman into their weyr, much less let her stay. Strangely, she seems to have no problem with men—perhaps because E’mor is not interested in them.
Why me? Clearly E’mor is the only person who can keep up with Cazveth’s antics. The dragon needed someone who could provide her with his undivided attention, and someone who could keep her in line when her neuroses started getting out of control. As far as Cazveth is concerned, she’ll never have to worry about some woman stealing E’mor away, like she might have to with some of those other burly, socially adept men she might have otherwise chosen. And she needs E’mor’s brain and memory to keep her on track when she ends up in one of her episodes.

Yay, thank you Lithle!
Name: Suzelaloth Color: Blue
Appearance: Suzelaloth is the blue of a desert sky just as the sun is setting. His hide is dark and, for the most part, very uncomplicated. From nose-tip to tail-tip he's the same chilly, dark blue, a blue that lends itself to the suggestion of black when the light isn't on him. But he's a creature meant to be lit, and it's the light that brings out the subtle beauty of his hide. There are suggestions there, of patterns, of firework splashes that add depth to his simplicity. But the splashes are all in blues only slightly differing from his primary color, some slightly darker, others slightly lighter. One has to examine him, admire him, see him under the sun, to notice these little details.
He's of average size for a blue, a neat, evenly proportioned little creature. Possessing much natural grace, he's a pleasure to watch in the sky and on the ground alike. He's built for learning all those fancy tricks that dragons don't really need to know. He and His could be real acrobats if they wanted to.
Personality: Unlike Dusky, Suzelaloth is no storyteller. He's not good at those quick little lies, those clever turns of phrase and dramatic exaggerations. But he is, in his own way, a showman. Oh yes. Suzelaloth loves attention. For himself, of course, but even more so, for Dusky. Think of him as a spotlight, drawing the attention of the crowd to the one weaving little nets of words. Suzelaloth is a natural at drawing attention. He's graceful, with a love of learning the little tricks of flight that give him little flare. Suzelaloth will want to learn to fly upside down. Backwards. Anything that might get people talking about him and his. He's not a gossip himself, not much of a talker at all, but man, does he like to be the subject of the chatter of others.
Needless to say, Suzelaloth is Dusky's biggest fan. If he's a natural at drawing attention to the two of them, it's only because he believes that his deserves the attention. He doesn't really understand her distrust of people, he's an easygoing dragon who tends to assume the best of others. And if he'd rather dance the winds than talk, he loves being surrounded by the conversation of others. Where Dusky might like to keep space between herself and strangers, Suzelaloth will be the first to invite a newly arrived dragon over. He's not much better with newly arrived humans, eager to get a close look at them and show off one of his little tricks. See, Suzelaloth loves Dusky's stories, but he also loves stories in and of themselves. He loves hearing about faraway places, of adventures at foreign Weyrs or deep within the Southern jungles.
If Dusky has any plans of leading a squad of her own one day, she's got her work cut out for her. Suzelaloth is a show-off and a fancy flyer. He's not a plodding, day in, day out, sort of creature. Drills bore him, patrols even more so. He'll be the dragon in the squad who keeps falling back, or pulling out of formation entirely to show off some new bit of aerial trickery. He's fearless, though, in air and on the ground. So, while he may be useless in day to day patrols, he'll not hesitate when it comes to taking down a dangerous wild feline or swooping down to grab an escaping human before they can reach the treeline.
Why me? Dusky needed a dragon as adventurous as herself. None could compete with her as a spinner of tales and Suzelaloth won't try. He'll add to her reputation in his own way, drawing attention with his showy antics so that Dusky can start telling the story of 'This one time, when Suzelaloth and I were…'. And Suzelaloth needs Dusky, needs someone to tell his story with all the fancy flair that he knows it deserves but doesn't know how to impart with his own, plainspoken way of talking. He may be rubbish at stories, but he knows that as long as he's at Dusky's side, he'll be part of the tales he loves so much.

Seriously, Maggie, I ADORE HER. I never thought a girl would go so well with K'yne! She's honestly the most fitting dragon he's had! <3
Name: Calith Color: Green
Appearance: Calith is beautiful and elegant. She has a long neck and dainty wings. And she knows this. She is a brilliant emerald green and his hard to miss. She has some darker patterning snaking around her legs, almost like vines, and her wingsails are a bit paler, but all in all, she is a striking girl. She is on the large end for greens, but her elegant build makes her look a bit smaller than she is.
Personality: Calith is a vain little thing. Like her rider, she is very self-confident, to the point of arrogance, mainly based on how pretty she thinks herself. However, unlike her rider, she is loyal to a fault and rarely rude to those she likes. Once she is in a wing and has established a relationship with other dragons and riders, she will do anything for them and she has a very good sense of hierarchy, so she is never openly defiant to those who are her superiors. She is in fact very happy to be of service to those who are her superiors, especially if they flatter her when they ask her to do anything. Or even if they ask nicely. Calith likes it when people are nice to her and returns kindness with a sunny attitude. On the flip side, she tends to respond to surliness with offended sarcasm and snippiness.
Calith is not the sharpest tool in the shed. However she knows this and is ok with this. K'yne is smart, a fact that she is very proud of and likes to boast about, and so he can make the decisions for the both of them. She does understand her rider's vindictiveness and although she herself would never hurt a fly, she has been known to supply ideas for insults during a verbal spar and she does not mind if he fights a bit. As long as he does not get hurt. She would be very upset if he got hurt and she reminds him of this often, which is why she approves of his sparring so that he stays in shape and never gets hurt.
She has her rider's work ethic and strives for perfection in everything she does. She also strives to maintain her appearance perfect, which sometimes includes harassing her rider for oiling and grooming.
Why me? Calith chose K'yne because she admired his good looks. Or that's what she always says. In fact she felt drawn to his inner strength and hard-working nature, as well as his confidence. She knew that she would complement him well, since her more trusting nature can even out his reticence to trust and his confidence would keep her feeling secure and would ensure that she would never become a needy, whiny green. After all, why would one need to be a needy green when one's rider is always confident in one's mind and he is certain that you are the prettiest green on Pern?

Drydenth rocks so hard! And perfectly in-theme, and in personality, and in YAY PAISLEY and in manliness and in SQUEEEEEEEEEE. (Link - i302.photobucket.com/albums/nn92/StellaDark/yey.jpg)Name: Drydenth Color: Brown Appearance: A beast of a brown at 39 feet, Drydenth has an impressive build. His body is broad and muscular without being stocky, the dragon having long, muscular limbs, as well as a neck that tapered off at the end just enough to give him a slightly elegant air, keeping him from appearing like a brute. His base is a pleasant color, a light, chocolate brown. Outlines of a darker chocolate circle in patterns, each of the small crevices these patterns made different shades of brown, mock the pattern of Paisley. It’s a bit of a feminine look over his slightly dappled base, but, the broad figure helps minimize that. Personality: Drydenth is fanatic about his masculinity, thanks to the pattern that covers his hide. Indeed, the Brown goes out of his way to prove his strength, liking to have people fawn over him. Thanks to this, he’s absolutely obsessed with being the center of attention. It makes him feel important, and, it’s likely that this makes H’lak a bit uncomfortable. It’ll be hard for his rider to slink around secretly with him constantly crowing loudly. However, that doesn’t stop him from wanting to be as silent and covert as his rider; he’s just very poor at it. It’s a bit hilarious to watch him wander around behind his clever, silent rider, crouched down behind a tree he couldn’t possibly fit behind. The humor of this isn’t lost on him; in comparison to His, he’s got quite the sense of humor, and is willing to make himself the butt of a joke. For this reason, Drydenth is a likable dragon, constantly shoving himself in to social circles and being relatively accepted. He appears to be a confident, strong male. However, he’s more than a bit paranoid, constantly worried that, if his aura of manliness fades, he’ll be harassed, insulted, and his rider will abandon him. These worries can be soothed easily, however, and friends, of which he’s often quite eager to make, will find it simply a minor inconvenience. Why me? H’lak is a strong, proud man, and, through this, Drydenth immediately connected with him. As well, the other man’s confidence will swiftly help the Brown get over his paranoia that he’ll be frowned down upon. Drydenth’s good humor and willingness to make friends will also gradually pull out the more sensitive side of his rider, hopefully, and make H’lak friends he wouldn’t have gotten otherwise.
