Alright, a bit of news on the hatching.

There's a possibility in this hatching that a few of the hatchlings will threaten serious character derailment.

Let me say this again:

A few of the hatchlings may cause Serious Character Derailment.

We're talking the sort of situation where Spins impresses the sort of baby that convinces him to settle down and raise sheep.

We can't explain why, or how, at the moment. We can't say how far it might take your character away from your plans. We can say it's likely to be the cause of great drama in the impressing character's life. And that it's important to the plot.

Therefore, these particular babies will only have the potential to impress to those PCs that sign up for it. In other words, if you're okay with getting such a baby, put your character's name here. If you're not okay with this, just don't post anything in this thread.

If no one signs up, that's fine. We'll give the problem baby and/or babies to NPCs.

I'm having trouble understanding this derail sort of thing, as the example you gave us didn't help me at all. However, if you can manage to find something nice for Ever, and with nice I mean as long as she doesn't go insane and try to kill people, or... loses her good hand, then I'm fine with her getting one of them thar speshul draggums.

Derailing can mean a great wide amount of things, but if you're worried about something happening to Ever you may not have anticipated, this sort of baby is probably not for her. There are plenty of other sorts that can be Impressed, so don't think anything bad will happen if you don't sign up for this sort of baby.
