Alrighty, brohas and babes, Touchings and Hatchings are getting close, and we felt the need to make a wee announcement in regards to how the inner workings of Impressions and Dragon Matchings go here at Wardens.
This is important, my dearest loves, so please pay attention~
Profiles are, as you all know, one of the most crucial parts to matching a dragon with rider. The descriptions allow for the proper idea to be had of the character in question, and make for a pretty fun read. Let me assure you, we DO read them. Frequently. I have tabs open to every single Candidate when we do Matchings.
However! That is NOT the only thing we take into consideration. We are aware that character development via RP often takes place, and we love that! What this means is that we DO look at activity, we look for how your character is PLAYED, not just how they were written in profile. The more you play, the more often you show us what your kid is really like, the more confident we are in the match we want to make.
Lithle and I put hours into these kids. Our social lives tend to go on hold while we figure things out, and I spend a very, very long time coloring them. Posting a profile and sending a Candidate form but never posting is not going to make us keen on giving you a dragon. Seeing them be PLAYED is a huge reward for us and our work, and it should be fun for everyone else as well.
And speaking of Candidate forms, we're short on some. Remember, we need them 3 days prior to the Hatching or you will not Impress. Period. At all, no exceptions. So I suggest sending them in now and getting it out of the way.
Please feel free to PM me with questions. I'll be happy to answer any and all.
