And a new season comes upon Warden's Weyr. From now until May 15th it will be Winter.
The Dragon Watch has officially left. No one is entirely sure what conclusions they reached, but the Warden is still in place and no harm was done to the baby dragons. Master Dragonhealer Kytek left with them leaving Master Dragonhealer Lanakirene the official Dragonhealer of the Weyr.
Meanwhile, among the clutches:
The Insta-Weyrling Clutch can be played at anywhere between eleven and thirteen months old. This means that they are old enough to have (or participate in) flights! Training in Betweening is being taught and Weyrlings are even permitted to participate in short flights with the official Squads. At the end of the thirteenth month they will be sorted into their Squads, though they won't be expected to fly full patrols.
If you have a Green you'd like to fly, please contact myself or Noz. We'd like to have some green flights.
The Fairytale Clutch can be played at anywhere between four and six months. Prisoner Weyrlings are expected to have decided whether they plan to join the Guards or not. Those who wish to are being trained in basic law, those who don't are being encouraged to choose another vocation. First unmanned flights take place at six months. Non-prisoners are permitted to fly double with the squads to get a sense of what's involved in patrolling. Everyone is being taught to memorize the grounds.
The Sin Wher Clutch can be played at anywhere between three and five months.
The mood at the Weyr has relaxed somewhat with the exit of the Dragon Watch. There's a sense among some that, in the face of adversity, it's best to pull together. The winter months also see fewer prison fights and escape attempts.
