Alright boys and girls,
Here's your mid-march update! These facts will hold through from mid-march to mid-april.
Insta-Weyrling Clutch:
Insta-Weyrlings may be played at anywhere between eight and ten months old. They are learning the theory behind going between and practicing short flights with their riders.
Fairytale Clutch:
Fairytale Weyrlings may be played at anywhere between one and three months. Great focus is being put on educating those weyrlings who need it on basic things like reading and figuring. Most lessons are in a group, but the 'traditional' weyrlings meet separately for lessons on law and the like. None of the group is currently doing any form of guard duty. However, the traditional Weyrlings are being taught about guarding. Traditional lessons and physical workouts continue as normal. Body guards continue to shadow the young riders.
Sins Wher Clutch:
The wher clutch can be played at anywhere between new hatched and two months. They are learning whatever Z tells them to learn.
General Atmosphere:
The general atmosphere at Warden's is very tense. There's been two escape attempts since the Fairytale hatching, neither successful. A few riders have managed to transfer elsewhere in disgust at the prisoners impressing. Warden's is now even more short handed. The fact that some wher handlers are busy with the new whers doesn't help matters either.
The general attitude toward the irregulars and their riders is negative. Everyone isn't negative, of course, but that's the general vibe. In addition, there's a lot of talk about the Dragon Guard coming to Warden's Weyr and possibly even taking over running it.
Obviously, anyone can backdate and play their characters younger. I just ask that you not play anything beyond the noted points, for plot reasons.
