F'ox leaned against the fence of the pen, the pale boy frowning at he animals that milled inside. Snowth was getting bigger, yes, but she was not yet flying or hunting for herself. The young green still relied on her rider to feed her, ad every time he killed one of the beasts he felt ill inside. He had no right to kill them, even if it was to feed his beloved Green. Snowth crooned worriedly, nibbling on the edges of his shirt and pushing her head against him in unspoken apologies. She was hungry, but she didn't want to push her rider to kill the animals. She knew he would do it... but he tended to cry afterwards. Snowth hated when he cried.
Mine... I don't like hurting things either but.... they were born for this... She remarked softly, trying to rationalize the actions. She just waned him to be more comfortable with what he had to do. You can do it! I believe in you, mine! Her tail twithced nervously, and F'ox started to climb the fence before stopping himself. The albino looked fairly green, and cast a miserable look to Snowth.
Snowth! I can't do it! They're.... they're so sad looking. Oh, Snowth, we should let them all go.
Mine... we need to eat.
"I... I know... but... they look so sad in there, just waiting to be eaten..."

It wasn't uncommon to find H'und and Coreth walking around somewhere like the feeding pens. Both enjoyed the more...pastoral scenery, as well as the quiet. Occasionally, the bronzerider would have to take a detour with Coreth because of a large amount of bugs, but, usually, it was peaceful.
As they turned back towards where the pens were, Coreth bugled a greeting, pace quickening as H'und looked confused. Mine! Look, Mine! F'ox and Snowth! Let's say hi! Wha- He wasn't able to speak much, the swift pace quickly bringing them to where the pair was.
Hello, Snowth and Snowth's! It's a lovely day. H'und raised a hand to wave to the both before actually speaking. "Hi" The man paused, frowning slightly. "Is something the matter?"

Oh, Snowth and Hers are here, as well! She must be hungry like me. Came the gray's voice in T'ron's mind. T'ron blinked and looked at the dappled green and her rider. An easy grin spread across the former-guard's features. But Sowth's doesn't seem to want to kill anything. Could you help him?
The two reached the dragon and rider already at the pens, their body language inviting and friendly. They arrived at about the same time as H'und and Coreth. "Hello, F'ox and H'und. How are you today? Fox, are you contemplating killing a beast?"
Why of course he is, Cabarath meowed, projecting his svelte voice into F'ox, Snowth, H'und, Coreth, and his rider's mind. Hello, Snowth's and Snowth and Coreth's and Coreth. It really is a nice day to be eating. Mine can kill a 'beast or two for us, if you'd like. Cabbage ended, pointedly glaring at T'ron. The man's easy grin did not falter, "Yeah, sure. If you're squeamish about killing, I could totally get one for you. And one for Coreth if you'd like, H'und."
I am fine with this fact, mine. I was the one who suggested it. Are you fine with it, Snowth? The last sentence was projected to Snowth only while the first sentence was given to his rider. Then, to Coreth, Coreth, would you mind sharing two herdbeasts with us?

Any semblance of comfort disappeared as H'und appeared. F'ox blushed, stepping behind one of Snowth's outstretched wings. He pulled down the hat that was meant to protect him from the sun until it covered his eyes, and pulled nervously at his shirt. Snowth seemed to suddenly become shy as well, despite ducking her head and crooning a greeting to he older bronze. What could she say? She liked Coreth. He was nice to her and very, very silly.
Hello, Coreth. How are you today? The quiet dragoness inquired respectively, suddenly aware of how big Coreth had gotten. It seemed lie he'd been small like her only the other day, though she'd never seen Coreth when he was her size. But at his age he dwarfed the small green. Yes. It is quite lovely. I was about to have my breakfast, Coreth. Care to join me? The young green seemed almost shyly hopeful- She wasn't a social butterfly, but at times she liked company. Just not crowds. An idle chat with Coreth sounded very nice, though.
F'ox smiled guiltily as H'und asked if something was the matter, hesitating before nodding shyly with Snowth's encouragement. "It's... um, the herdbeasts... Snowth is hungry but..." He looked down, kicking lightly at the dirt. "I... I don't like killing them... it... makes me feel bad..." F'ox jumped as he noticed the grayweyrling, smiling nervously and considering hiding. Oh lord. People. "Uh... yeah..."
That would be greatly appreciated, brother. Would you like to stay and talk with us? Snowth inquired in a shy manner, she did want to speak but like her rider she was feeling shy. She brushed up against the albino, rubbing her head against him. Have you met Coreth before? He knew Mine before we Impressed. She turned her now blue eyes towards the bronze, trying to hide the traces of yellow that came with having company. Oh my... Snowth was surrounded by boys.
Snowth! F'ox sounded distressed. People were near him!
Oh, Mine, you must make friends sometime. Snowth sighed, extending a wing to give him an awkward touch that resembled a wing. Mine is very shy. Snowth didn't add her own shyness. She had to be the brave one this time, for F'ox.

"It's nice to see you again." H'und spoke after a brief pause, seeming to wish to actually engage in conversation with F'ox. Not that it ever went well..And it didn't seem to be doing so good now, as F'ox was hiding. Coreth, however, was unaware of this issue.
The bronze rumbled happily at the greeting, bending down to bump noses with the smaller. I am doing quite good, as is Mine. I hope you and yours are doing well, though Yours's face is red! I hope he isn't sunburnt! That would be just terrible. H'und was about to respond to the question, in fact planning to offer his own help (F'ox was adorable and he had to help him but now he couldn't arg) before another voice sounded out. The vague comfort that had been there when it was only the two pairs slipped out of sight, the weyrling stiffening slightly as he nodded towards T'ron.
Coreth, however, seemed fine with this. Good morning! How are you? I don't believe we've formally met. Are you Snowth's clutchmate? Mine and myself weren't able to attend the hatching. A brief pause and he turned his attention to the man who suddenly seemed to be made of stone. Say hello! I did. You have to actually say things, Mine! You were quite ready to talk to Snowth's! That's different! No it isn't! Is! Isn't! Is-
The arguing was interupted by the offer, H'und biting the inside of his lip. "That's not nec-" What Mine is trying to say is that we would be pleased to take you up on your offer.

'They don't want us here.' T'ron said lightly to Cabarath, his eyes glancing at the bronze weyrling and the green weyrling. His smile was still amiable, though, and very friendly toward the other two and their dragons. Give them a chance. It's not their fault that they are somewhat antisocial. T'ron wondered what happened to his gray to make the gray have such a large vocabulary.
"I'm sorry if I intruded." T'ron said, nodded at both of them, his voice kind. "I was only trying to help."
You were not intruding, and Coreth says that you killing the beasts will be good. Snowth also thinks this is good. She says that Hers is shy. Cabarath told His before turning to his clutchsibling and the other. How do you do, Coreth? It is nice to finally meet you. The gray told the bronze, dipping his head slightly as he spoke to the larger bronze. It is okay, Snowth. Mine would do nothing wrong to hurt Yours. I promise. Cabarath declared to Snowth, trying to soothe her nerves.
"Did you want two separate 'beasts?" T'ron asked, trying to be helpful, trying to be less harmful than he could ever be. T'ron was not the one who they had to worry about, it was Cabarath.

F'ox wished he could say the same to H'und, but quite frankly he couldn't. It was actually a relief that his classmate showed up- H'und intimidated the greenweyrling. He was just... big and scary. Poor H'und, the one time he tries to make a friend that person is terrified of him. F'ox tried to return T'ron's smile, but it came out as him just baring his teeth in an awkward mockery of a true smile. F'ox isn't very good at this whole socializing business. You are doing very well, my love.[/i] Snowth assured her rider, crooning.
Oh, mine is always burned. He turns very interesting colors when he is nervous, however. Snowth chirped, earning herself a glare from her pale rider. She merely crooned encouragingly at him, wrapping her tail around his leg. You are not intruding, Cabarath's. Like I said, mine is very, very shy. She spoke directly to the human, because F'ox had taught her that was polite. He is getting better, though. Her voice was practically bursting with pride- it was true. Earlier, F'ox would have fled instead of trying to hide.
Oh, I know. Snowth chirped happily to her brother, despite her bashful mood remaining.
F'ox spoke finally, his voice soft and his eyes on the ground. "I... if Cabarath doesn't mind, Snowth could share with him... right, Snowth?" The green nodded enthusiastically, pleased that her shy rider was speaking. "I mean... Snowth isn't big enough to eat an entire herdbeast on her own..."

Intruding? Why yes, yes he was! H'und was going to help F'ox so he wasn't scared anymore, but now he couldn't! Now the albino would just keep thinking he was weird and scary.
It was quite silly, how upset he seemed to be about this, especially in Coreth's mind. It was far more interesting here, and the bronze was absolutely certain His would be forced to socialize.
Still, H'und was quite good at keeping an emotionless visage, even, albiet with a bit of prodding from Coreth, putting on a polite smile when the Gray asked how his dragon was doing.
I'm quite good, and it's nice to meet you too! Truly, the small bronze was not this social. However, he was quite certain that forcing His in to social situations would bring out the lovable, charming person he thought H'und was!
He thought, that is. In all reality, the man would be lovable mostly through pity for a lack of truly likable chararistics, and charming...The notion was laughable.
I and Mine are quite fine with whatever you choose. Why do you assume I'm okay with this all!? A snort of surprise was given, the noise likely confusing the others in attendance as Coreth gave his an incredulous stare.
What...I... Maybe I don't want to be here! Faranth, I can speak for myself on what I want! The sudden snap was so blatantly uncharacteristic of H'und, Coreth was more concerned than hurt in the slightest. Mine...Are...You okay? I don't know. Why don't you tell me?
The growled thought was followed by the man ignoring any comments from his dragon, outwardly calm while seething inside.
