T'di
Name: T'di (Formerly Thedi)
Age: 23
Gender: Male
Prisoner: Nope
Craft/Rank: Guard/Weyrleader
Appearance: Standing just over five and a half feet, T'di is nothing to write home about. He has a round face, straight nose and slanted blue-gray eyes with a mop of dark red hair that consists of bangs and a ragged cut all around to create a semi-spiky appearance. His skin is a low tan, originally pale before long hours in the sun.
T'di is slightly chubby and no, he doesn't care. His arms and legs are long and thickly muscled, hands very calloused, and he has a single piercing in each ear. That punk.
Personality: T'di is what is called an internal extrovert; he is loud, often brash with words but his actions tend to fall apart as he always has an excuse for not finishing. Since he goes through such great strides to be likeable, most people simply accept the excuses and brush off any attempt at an apology. As such, T'di doesn't feel remorse for his flaking out unless someone else actively tries to make him feel guilty.
He's a nice guy, no matter what any one says! Really. At the very least, there are good intentions. If T'di likes you (or wants you to like him), the charm will come out and he will start with the ego boosting, gifts, and massive amounts of smiling. Despite the attempts to woo a person onto his side, whether it be in bed or just as a friendship, he is terrible at any sort of flirtin (at least he knows it). Subtle is no longer a part of his vocabulary as one thing he also knows is that reading into things too much or too little is something he is quite prone to and rather hates it. T'di will ask, flat out, "What are we? What is this?" and he will take the response at face value.
While not a big guy or very intimidating outside of his big mouth, T'di perfected the Death Glare in early infancy. He will use it to shut someone up or down just before unleashing verbal hell. Getting up in someones face is the last resort (and usually when Mordanth will step in) before fists fly.
Unlike some smaller dragons riders, T'di never believed he or Mordath are any less important than a bronze. He is a take charge, talk big person often thrust into situations and even with his mottled blue, he is good at what he does (if and when he does it). Mordath always made him proud; anyone to say that he deserves less of the bright will be meeting themselves on the wrong end of two vividly angry stares.
History: Born to Weavercraft Hall, Thedi had a normal life until he was twelve years old. Until then, he'd been the child of two weavers ,middle of learning the craft when he was Searched by a kind blue dragon by the name of Rumith. Both Thedi and his parents, easy going folk, figured 'why not?' and sent the boy on his way.
He'd been Searched just as a clutch was laid. Just before his thirteenth birthday, Thedi became T'di. It was thought a boy who enjoyed being around people and tried to take control of life would impress at least a brown, if not a bronze so once Mordanth was born with a a blue hide, the treatment of the couple switched drastically. They were 'just' a blue and his rider, looked at as a 'lesser' color. Mordanth and T'di quickly tired of this way of thinking and once they heard of a job at Warden's Weyr, T'di immediately put in for a transfer.
In fact, they were the first pair to request a move to the prison. Most were assigned there as some sort of punishment. He reunited with a somewhat old friend in Leshta and then Mordanth ran Semith and life exploded.
Mordanth
Name: Mordanth
Color: Blue
Age: 10
Appearance: Insert picture here Small, thin for even a blue. Mottled hide, varies between a bright blue and a darker blue-gray.
Personality: Mordanth is badass and he will let you know it. Not overly intelligent or large, he has charisma and he isn't afraid to use it. Mordanth makes a point to charm anyone he can, talking to humans and dragons alike. He is just as outgoing as His but the key difference is that Mordanth is genuine in his interest and people-loving personality, preferring to wear his heart on his (proverbial) sleeve and convincing others to do the same.
While the very idea of a prison disturbs Mordanth immensely, he can understand (usually) why the need to keep the violent and dangerous people isolated came about. After all, he would between if someone killed His - defending lives is a good thing. He takes pity on the non-violent criminals in the Weyr, often attempting to get His to treat them nicer if he sees what could be considered a mistreatment. Being a dragon, he'll forget about it until the next time and for the most part, T'di has learned to ignore his requests by offering food.
He loves abnormalities, absolutely, utterly. Mordath feels no color should be looked down upon as lesser and that no person should be seen the same way for a disfigurement or a mental disability. He couldn't (didn't want to) Impress to a mentally disturbed person but still, it doesn't make them bad people! Also with that line of thought, he adores Semith. She is not at all like other Queens he'd met and she has that odd little wing. Oh, yes, he adores her and would defend her right to Clutch and do whatever she does just as fiercely as Hers.
