General Rules 1. Be awesome to one another. This should be a given. Check your drama at the door. 2. If drama does happen, keep it out of the C-box. Work out any problems you may have with other players through PMs. 3. Listen to the mods. Respectful disagreement is fine. Passive aggressive argument is not. 4. Bullying and similar behavior will be grounds for banning. Period. Be nice.

Roleplay Rules 1. No Godmoding 2. You may have as many characters as you wish, though we ask that, should you stop playing a character entirely, you retire them officially, just so we know they're no longer in play. 3. ICA=ICC. In character actions have in character consequences. This will be taken very seriously. There are very few restrictions on what your characters can do, but be aware that they find themselves locked in a very small room if they do the wrong thing in front of the wrong person. Prisoner weyrlings or former prisoner dragon riders can and will be crippled if they step out of line or do something expressly forbidden. 4. Keep it PG-13 or take it off the board. 5. Do not pressure people into plots. We'll be dealing with some dark themes here. And that's fine. But if someone doesn't play whatever particular dark idea you have, they don't have to. 6. Please, whatever else you do, keep the setting in mind. 7. If you have plot ideas, please, nudge the mods, or post them in the 'plots' thread. If they suit the setting and theme, we'll do our best to get them running. 8. We will not have activity requirements. But if you impress and disappear on us, don't expect to come back at the next hatching and impress again. We will remember. 9. We will never adopt out your characters. They're yours. Period. 10. Also on the subject of activity. There are many dark things afoot. We will be PMing people from time to time in order to move the game forward. If you do not wish to participate in a plot, tell us. But if you do agree to participate, please do so. Don't leave us hanging, man!

Candidate Rules 1. If you do not fill out the 'candidate' form and PM it to lithle, you will not impress. 2. All candidates must be approved three days before a given hatching if they are to have any chance to impress. 3. While stands impressions may happen, you still need to give us a candidate form. 4. Please keep in mind how candidacy works at Warden's Weyr, or more to the point, how it doesn't. Read the 'Candidacy' Guide. Your character should not be attending many candidacy lessons, or doing candidate chores. 5. If you have a prisoner candidate, please keep in mind that ICA=ICC. They will be watched very carefully, and be denied the chance to stand if they set a single toe out of line.

Hatching and Weyrling Rules 1. We work very hard at matching candidates with dragons. Please keep the personality we give you in mind. 2. If you do not like the dragon you are given, talk to staff, we will try and work with you. Adjustments can be made, though you will not be getting a whole new dragon. 3. If you don't like the color you impressed, tough cookies. You should have said you didn't want that color on your candidate form. 4. If you do not impress, it only means you didn't impress. There will be other chances. 5. Please keep an eye on the weyrling lesson timeline. Your dragon can't be zipping between before they've even learned to fly. 6. Try to show up for lessons, and we'll try to make them fun. 8. If you have a lesson idea, let us know! 9. If you have a prisoner who impresses please read the prisoner weyrling guidelines. Keep in mind that ICA=ICC and your prisoner's dragon WILL be crippled if the prisoner steps out of line. We're not saying your character has to have reformed, but they need to convince their Weyrlingmaster they have. 10. If you do not send in a Candidate form, you will not Impress. We will post a list of anyone we have not received them from, and we live by the saying: "Lack of planning on your part does not constitute as an emergency on ours." Any complaining or passive aggressive activity is a ban-hammer offense, and Nozling will be more than happy to bring it down like the almighty tool of Thor. 11. If you have not logged in for a month prior to the hatching, your character will not impress. 12. If you have no posts with your candidate they are highly unlikely to impress. Exceptions may be made for new players or new characters. 13. If they have been played, but not in the two months prior to the hatching, they are also highly unlikely to impress.

Flight and Clutching Rules For Firelizards1. Please check with staff before scheduling a flight. Just so we don't have 12 going at once. 2. Clutch size and makeup will be determined by the mods. 3. You, however, may choose who gets the eggs. There must, however, be an IC explanation of how that person gets them. You can't for example, give an egg to a prisoner in solitary confinement. 4. You may also "create" the flits, writing out personality and appearance if you choose. For Whers1. If you wish your female to Run, please schedule it with staff in advance. 2. The size and makeup of clutches will be determained by staff. 3. However, the hatching themselves are to be controlled by the clutchmother's player. It's up to you to decide the personality and appearance of the little whers, as well as deciding who is to impress them. For Dragons1. If you impress a green, you do not need to have 'on screen' flights. 2. If you do choose to have 'on screen' flights, please schedule them with staff in advance. 3. If you impress a clutching dragon, flights must be RPed and scheduled in advance. Flight aftermath, of course, need not be (and must be kept PG-13 on the board). 4. The female dragon's player chooses who wins the flight. They may use whatever method they wish. 5. If your girl Rises and has a clutch, you have no say over how many eggs are laid, which hatch, what colors they are, who the eggs go to, the personalities of the dragons, or absolutely anything in regards to the eggs. 6. That said, if you have another character Standing, that character may still Impress if they fit a dragon.
