Hey, y'all.

My name is Nozomi. Twenty four years of age, in a job I'm not super excited about but enjoy, avid reader, not bad writer. Sometimes I sound more abrupt than I mean to be.

I've read Dragonsong and that's... pretty much it. I love flits and browns are quickly becoming a favorite color.

My personal favorite color is purple!

I could tell you a whole lot about me but all you really need to know is my insane love of Firefly/Serenity and pretty much any television show you can name (except, of course, Glee, any 'with the Stars' or 'Idols' or 'Loser' or 'Bachelor' or Gossip Girl/90210). My uber favorites are Bones, any NCIS, and the CSIs... but I'm loving V, The Walking Dead, and just about any other show. I love Lost, even if it's over. =D

I've read most of the Dragonriders books except for the newest Todd came out with and Nerilka. Moreta and Dragonsdawn are by far my favorites.

My favorite color is red, blood red... and brown. So... favorite colors, not color.

I have been rping for 10 years, and being 19, that means I was 9 when I started. Sure, earlier accounts come from Neopets, but we're not talking about that. =D

Alright, I suppose I should say something about myself.

I'm 25. I started RPing when I was in middle school, and I started with Pern. I was terrible. That's what middle school is for. Anyway, I'm pretty boring. I work. I spend time with my boyfriend. I write. I play video games. That about covers it.

I've read all of Anne's books, pretty much. Certainly all her pern books and a good number of the others. But I haven't read Todd's and I'm not particularly interesting in doing so. In point of fact, I don't even like the pern novels anymore. You couldn't get me to read them now. I consider them pretty messed up, particularly from a queer, feminist perspective. But the world, or at least the bones of the world, offer the chance for wonderful, interesting RP. And I like that.

I'm not good with people. And I don't do drama. So, that about covers it.

I'm Ramba, and I'm extremely shy, except for when I'm hyper. Like now. My favorite colour....well, I like all colours except for brown and orange. I don't know why, they just make me feel depressed. This doesn't in anyway relate to dragon colours, 'cause my favorite dragon is my big brown Ith-y, who is probably slightly gender confused and loves to help guarding eggs.

I've read a few books on Pern, but I started roleplaying Pern-related things not knowing anything about it, so everything I learned was from roleplaying. Hm, I feel like I'm rambling, so I should probably cut to some more important things about me:
I'm from Britain, so you'll have to excuse my mis-spellings etc.
I'm at college for two and a half days a week, so on Thursday and Friday I might find it hard to post anything understandable.

So, ma name's Spiffy (aka Adelphia, freefall or Emerald-Hearts) and I've been RPing since about 2008, Pern since '09 and I never looked back. Well, I tried once or twice to get back into Horses/wolves, but it just didn't work Dx I've read all the cannon books of Anne's (Dragonflight to All The Weyrs) and a couple of the offshoots, including Dragonsblood as the only Todd book I've so far read. Didn't like it much.

I'm 17, a college student of five days a week (if you count the 1 hour on friday :/ ) and I am going to uni to study Biology next year (hopefully). My life is also pretty boring. I go to college, come home, work a bit if I can be assed, laze about on facebook, deviantART and various Weyrs, go to bed and read fantasy books, and on Thursday nights I do 3 hours drum practise with a group, so don't expect much out of me on Thursdays xD

That's pretty much it, except that I'm English too, I have a slight obsession with certain smilies ooc, I'm addicted to tea and rock music, and I have no life because I live in the country and I've not yet passed my driving test so I can't get anywhere good damnit.

So I read Mikki's introduction post, automatically assumed we were doing individual threads, and trotted off to do so. Then realised everyone else was posting in here. HERP DURP.

Copy-paste; Guess I'm going to make an introduction thread, even though a number of you already know me from the uh, barging into your cbox and forcing a skin upon you. That's how normal people interact, yeah?

Alright, information time. I'm Pandora, as you can most likely see. I also go by pan/panda/pandy, and I used to use Ziskara, but notsomuch anymore. My real name is Matilda, and I don't mind if you want to call me that, too. I'm 16, Australian, and in the last year of highschool. Sucks.

I draw, read, sleep and bake. Except for when I don't sleep, like now. That nice 30+ hours awake feeling... Like nausea and death. Mmm...

Read my first Pern book sometime between the age of 8-12, decided that the world was amazingly amazing, and that I wanted a dragon, or twenty. And flits. Hundreds of them. Started roleplaying at about that age too, on Neopets. Didn't understand it at all. Used chatspeak and powerplayed. I was cool

Anyway, I think I intend to create a female greenrider. Or maybe wait for the hatching, if there'll be muties. I love muties. A bit too much, possibly. Won't be super active, but I'd love to help out, in any way I can. I'll happily make skins, draw dragons, create characters and hang around.

I am 21, and I started reading DRoP books around 10 or 11. I constantly re-read them until I was about 15, and found the internet. Although I didn't start roleplaying until the end of my senior year in highschool...

So I've been rp-ing for about 3 years, I think. For 2 of those years, I've been almost solely rping at Solaria Weyr. I get fed up when sites die, and I won't join anymore for a long while, lol. Until something original catches my eye, anyway. I like unique characters, and I try to rp aspects of people that aren't very common for their stations, like motherly goldriders, lol. I usually keep my character count down low, so I can keep them all active, too. I don't do anything very special outside of this, so I'm kinda a boring person. lol =^o^=

I'm not going to mention how old I am, because I was in highschool when some of you were born. I've been RPing in one form or another for 20 years. I was in a Pern RP when the internet first started. However I took an extended break from internet based RP games and things have changed a lot. I'm still getting used to forum based games so I beg you forgiveness if an old lady makes a mistake or two.

When not RPing I work full time as a Korean linguist. I live in Hawaii and spend a good bit of my free time out at the ranch riding my mustang. Yes, I shipped a mustang to Hawaii. I am that crazy.

I know this thread has been inactive for a while, but I figured I'd jump in on it to avoid littering up the chat area.

I'm Matthew. I haven't been doing forum-based roleplay for very long, but give me a tabletop RP game like DnD and I'm set. I absolutely loved DRoP when I started reading the books a few years ago, and now that my wife enticed me to join over at Ista Island, I figured a less-canon site would be a good complement. I don't have a whole lot of time to play usually, but apparently I'll check sites obsessively just to read the cbox and see if any thread replies are up.

I'll be 25 on the 26th of June. I'm 6'4" and work at Wendy's as a manager; get called in a lot of course. My sons are Cendan Wolf (three years old), Rowan Drake (two years old), and Merlynn Chade (sixteen months now). She posted random pictures of us over at this thread on Ista if anybody is that curious. Hmm... what else... I was in Job Corps for a while. I proposed to my wife two weeks into our relationship - I'm pretty impulsive, but it worked out. I have ADHD, but it's pretty mild. When I was little it was so bad they actually held me back a grade. Aaaanyhow.

I'm very much a newbie, and lack the originality so many of you seem to possess, but I <3 to roleplay. Please indulge me. =)
