MARCH BUMP As another RL month draws to a close, we realise just how much our site has grown! SPW has taken a darker turn, introducing a 2,2,2 level RPG rating, and updating our general rating to be M15+, as well as much more IC drama! Our members are active, friendly and thrill in plotting against their characters! Exciting Events!+ Blue Dragon was officially added to the team as an Administrator! + We were joined by Andikins, Meltain and Kickflare! + Benden, our first PC baby, was born to Bluerider R'nd and Volfetti. + Weyrwoman Tsuen and Weyrleader D'ren find out they will be parents in Early Spring! + Gold Nirinath's clutch was Touched in Early Autumn + There were fist fights, food fights and paint wars! + Katila's Honorary Master Healer Talian attempted to escape, dramatically [M thread], (Early Autumn) + Greenrider B'jin pressed the Weyrleaders buttons some, then some more. And some more. (Early Autumn.) + Weyrleader D'ren reintroduced public lashings. B'jin received 20. [M thread] (Mid Autumn) + Gold Nirinath's clutch Hatched 17 dragonets out of 18 eggs! (Late Autumn) + Five PC's Impressed! What We Are SeekingWe are searching for the following rank fillers, as well as Dragonriders in general, Stolen crafters, and those that travelled with the Survivors. While we have very little in the way of restrictions and expectations as far as posting goes, we expect ranking characters to post at least two-three (2-3) times a week unless a LOA is given. That said - while we encourage daily posting, we won't bite your head off if you're a glacial poster, or are having a shit day. Post length varies from thread to thread and plot to plot. We have no word count. We're all about having a good time, not about making your free time miserable! CHARACTERS DESIRED- Weyrsecond: Our current Weyrsecond has had to step down due to being adopted by the Weyrleader's Player, and so the Weyrleader is looking for someone to step into the position. Previous Weyrsecond, S'kef, is a mean SOB who gets off on lashing people. New Weyrsecond is encouraged to be similar in nature, to back up the Weyrleader's softer nature. Seeking a brown bronze rider.
- Weyrlady: E'lore of brown Uhoroth is available for adoption. She does have a profile BUT we are willing to have her completely rewritten or used as provided. Her current writer is unable to uphold the rank, and has graciously released the character. Applications for her will be handled delicately and carefully. As a ranking female brown rider she holds a position as, if not more, rare than gold.
- Weyrlingmaster: G’rem & Blue Remeneth, have a minimalist profile. He is currently responsible for the World Above Weyrlings, and was the teacher of the Candidate class before Impression. He is a massive monster of a man and is whack-happy with his walking cane. We would love to see him taken control of and whip our new Weyrlings into shape. (A PC class of 5)
- Weyrling Assistants: Survivors, and riding any colour, these men and women will be part of G'rem's crew as far as educating the new young men and women are concerned. There is an opening for up to five of these riders, though ideally we would like to see three. They may be male or female.
- Mature Riders: We have a mountain load of available dragonriders. Ranging from green to bronze (aged about 35 upwards) and one mature clutch (Renewed Hope, almost 4 Turns old now, riders aged mid to late 20's) though World Above NPCs won't be available until September. OOC, our brownriders are known as "mostly dicks", while the green and blue are unquestionable troublemakers through to the mild mannered and chastise. We encourage further delving into these stereotypes, the formation of groups and gangs and the spreading of IC gossip.
- Wing Leading Material: Our Weyrleader is toying with the idea of reinstating Wings, and he is going to need Wingleaders. Wingleaders should be Survivors who ride brown, or preferably, bronze. Wingseconds should be on a larger dragon, but it may be of any colour. Blue through to bronze is encouraged. They will, also, be a Survivor.
- Searchriders: While Searching is currently closed, it will open up again soon enough, and we would like a healthy supply of Searchriders to scour the Northern Continent for worthy Candidate material. They will ride blue or green at a 4:1 ratio.
